KRHS Cheerleaders and Players greeting our students as they arrive at school today. Go to the Den tonight at 7pm to support the Cougars in their rival game against Newton. Go cougars! 🐾🏈🐾
Day three of the fourth grade water safety program at KRHS focused on the importance of wearing personal flotation devices when boating. All students were able to practice life-saving techniques using the PFDs.

1st Grade practiced partner reading during Readers Workshop today!
The fourth graders continued with life-saving techniques today at KRHS. They learned how to assist a victim who may be drowning!
We had a fabulous day two at KRHS! It was a great session filled with swimming instruction. Mrs. Reynolds worked on helping the fourth graders learn the freestyle and backstrokes!
Fourth graders had the best first day at the Water Aquatics Safety program at Kittatinny today!

Spanish class is underway! We are reviewing number vocabulary and counting in 2nd grade. We used beads, blocks, Play-Doh, and dice. Reviewing numbers, classroom object vocabulary, and verb conjugations was on the docket for 5th grade today!

Important Dates:
August 18th - Parent Portal will be open. Please check your parent portal for 2023-2024 school year information. ie Homeroom Teacher and Bus Information
August 29th - PreK Open House from 9 am to 10 am in the PreK classroom
August 29th - Kindergarten Orientation from 10 am to 11:20 am. Gather in the gym. Come in through the front entranceway.
August 30th - Back to School Night. Kindergarten through 6th Grade, 6 pm in the assigned classrooms. There will be multiple sessions to allow you to visit all your children's homerooms.
Sept 5th - First Day of School. Welcome Back! School hours are 8:15 am to 3:15 pm
