Chef it up club is off to a wonderful start! The students made homemade dill pickles, fried pickle dip and were able to plant fresh dill to go home! Thank you to the PTC for making this club happen !
Today we had two amazing assemblies held by the author Daniel Kirk! He explained the process of writing a book and all of the steps that go into it. The students were also able to have their books signed by Daniel Kirk! Thank you so much to FEF for funding this fun assembly!
4th grade artists created fish prints using the ancient Japanese art of gyotaku.
Thank you to Daniel Kirk, author of a number of popular and bestselling books for children, for showing us how he wrote his chapter books and picture books. And a special thank you to the FEF for sponsoring this amazing assembly!

Our winners of the annual Souper bowl fundraiser were rewarded with a pizza party provided by Bennys Bodega. We were able to donate 473 cans of soup to the Bodega! Thanks to everyone who donated and for your continued support!

The Masked Readers were revealed today at our Den Rally! We also pulled some adventure tickets and celebrated our Souper Bowl champions. And, Mrs. Petermann and her sign language club showed us their skills. It was a great way to end Read Across America week!
