Fluency Homework
Fluency homework (passages are generally 3 minutes or less). Overall, improving reading fluency is necessary to improve reading comprehension. The fluency HW will go home each Monday. Your child will read the SAME passage on Monday,Tuesday,and Wednesday, Thursday nights. You will be asked to record the time it takes your child to read the passage each night. The goal is for the time to decrease with each read. HOWEVER, please encourage them to not read too fast! These record sheets will be handed in on Friday of each week.
Spiral Math Review Homework
Students are only expected to complete one day per night. They can record their answers on the sheet. Please keep it in the Homework Folder to be turned in at the end of the week.
